Fri, 16 June 2006 Talking about the anime Planetes this week. If you haven't seen/read it yet, do so. The voice acting in both the English and Japanese are superb, as is the music. If you like characters and story with some hard science mixed in, pick it up! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetes Category: Show Notes -- posted at: 10:32 PM Comments[0] |
Sat, 10 June 2006 MGS3:Subsistance, Exo-Squad, and Gargoyles in this long episode. Sorry for the lateness! Comments[0] |
Sat, 10 June 2006 Metal Gear Solid 3: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid_3:_Subsistence If you are a fan of a deep story and sneaky action, definitely get this. Be Kojima’s bitch! Exo-Squad: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exo_squad Great series! If you were lucky enough to see it when you were younger, kudos! If not, try to find it somewhere. Gargoyles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gargoyles_%28animated_series%29 Another great series. Find the DVD, or watch it on Toon Disney or something. It’s well worth it. The Da Vinci Code: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Da_Vinci_Code_%28film%29 For a different look at history, as well as some great acting from Sir Ian McKellen, Tom Hanks, and Jean Reno. X-Men: The Last Stand: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Men_3 Nowhere near as great as the last two, with some crappy dialogue, misrepresented characters, and plot holes you could throw the Juggernaut through, but an okay film nonetheless. Kelsey Grammer as the Beast, FTW! Category: Show Notes -- posted at: 2:31 AM Comments[0] |
